Default How long will SRT-6 parts be available for?

I am a new member and just bought a 2005 SRT-6 coupe two weeks ago. It currently has 700 miles on it and I am wondering how hard parts will become to get over time. Specifically parts like rotors, pads, air filters etc. I am also wondering about the rims as well. Is a safe assumption to say buy these items now why I still can get them.

I would appreciate any input.

I do not think the parts will become to hard to come by over time as most of them are taken directly off of mass produced mercedes slk and c class cars which in fact just ended production very recently and have sold very well... I do not see how pads and air filters can ever become a problem and become hard to purchase, the stock rims very well might become a hard purchase in a few years, and some of the crossfire interior pieces such as the dashboard and seats possibly, but these parts can be quiet easily recreated or even enhanced by an aftermarket company...

I do not think you have too much to worry about...

Hey Scott - where did you find your car at? What color did you get? We should meet up and run to the coast some time! It is always fun when there is more than one Crossfire in a group!

Buy K&N air filters and they will last a long time. I think they are guaranteed for 'life' or for a million miles.

Troy, my coupe is the same color as yours (Aero Blue SRT6 Coupe) and I bought it from Kirkland Chrysler in Kirkland, Washington State. I had only test driven a Limited Coupe and was looking for additional information about the Crossfire when I came across this website. I saw the SRT-6 listed by one of the members and called the dealer and bought it site unseen.

Congrats on your purchase. My roadster came with the al season tires so I bought aftermarket rims with mich ps2's. The staggered 18, 19 size was a bit hard to find. I have TSW Kayalami's and they look great. The whole point being that I am planning on keeping the car a while and I will have the original rims in perfect condition, no fretting about the un expected curb rash. The TSW's were less than $300 each with tpm's. Having the original rims, scratch free, on the car years from now will be worth a lot more.
Btw, I'd like to see a pic of your SL if you post any.
