This is my first post. My name is Tod Kitchen from Lima Ohio. I just got my father a great deal on a BRAND NEW 2005 SRT-6 coupe. I wanted to find a place like this to look for answers for Performance Upgrades, general questions etc. Something I thought I'd let everyone know, is that at the end of February Chrysler warranty registered a bunch of these cars. These were then sent to the 5-Star sale and were sold as USED cars. My dad got a 2005 SRT-6 with 13 miles on it and 33 months, 35,987 miles left on the factory warranty for $27,999! This car had a $47,xxx original sticker!

Well, I want to start by thanking you guys for this forum. 2 hrs after posting my first thread, I received a call from Buffalo New York and sold the SRT-6 Convertible. I still have 4 SRT-6 coupe's (2 Blue, 2 Charcoal) with less than 50 miles that have in-service dates around Feb. 24 - 28th 2007. These vehicles are sale priced @ $27,999. I'd have to check for Navigation, but these cars are "as new condition". I also have a Charcoal Coupe w/ 26,xxx miles for $23,999. Please feel free to give me a call 419-302-1691. I talked to you over the phone earlier this week. I'm the guy from Toledo. Are you guys moving any on the pricing of these cars as I know there is still room?

Also are there any loopholes to get these financed as new vehicles to take advantage of the rates or anything I should know about.


I'm going to be picking an SRT-6 up within a week or two and whoever wants to sell one the lowest I'll bite. I see eBay and Autotrader has a TON of SRT6s with less than 50 miles on them and they all seem to list them in the same ballpark. I know these things have sold for 25k tax title and everything else (brand new) so let me know what you can do. You beat everyone else and I'll give you my information and I'll come down and drive her home.

 

I purchased one of these "inventory reduction SRT-6's" last week from a different dealer for $25.6K + delivery to CA. Less then 100 miles and an in-service date of 2/07. No financing and I set up shipping. This dealer was also close to the auction site and did not have to pay trucking fees to ship the cars back to their dealerships after the close of auction.

There are still a few So Cal dealers with new SRT's on their lot but the best price I could get was $29.5K and no special financing through Chrysler.

You may want to check out CarMax as they have a few low mile SRT-6's that have been in their inventory for a few months that they may be ready deal on.

$24.9K seems to be the low national advertised opening price on an inventory reduction SRT-6 coupe if you're willing to hop on a flight to Florida or Ohio. The lowest price ones generally do not have nav.

AutoTrader results for all leftover/overtock SRT-6 XF's in the United States with under 150 miles.

I may well regret it in a few months (or years), but I figured all my research (and cleverly hacked AutoTrader link to show cars under 150 miles only) might be of use to others, now that I've taken myself out of the market.

HINT - The first page (and a half?) of listings show up first because the dealer paid for a higher position in the search. The lowest price listings seem to, for now, begin on the second page in the non-featured listings.

There are several other SRT-6 coupes going through a Chrysler sale this Thursday. I currently have 3 Charcoal, and 2 of the Silver/Blue with under 100 miles. I might be able to pick up a pair of Black at the Thursday sale. Also keep in mind that we are a 5-star dealer that has sold 0ver 20 Crossfire's in the last 3-4 weeks. These cars are getting a full detail, oil change with Mobil 1, and filled with Premium. I can help with delivery / Pick up at the air port, for free with in reason (150 miles). These cars are already starting to go up from what they were selling for 2-3 weeks ago. I have 3 people that will buy a roadster, I just can't get any more of them now.

Can you give us the price on the SRT coupes?

 

It seems like to me the market will be flooded with these new "used" SRT-6s. More and more are popping up on eBay and Autotrader. Going to give you a call later today.

 

Here's my current inventory on SRT-6 Coupes. 2 Silver / Blue, 3 Charcoal. All have under 100 miles, warranty registration was in Feb. '07, All are sale priced @ $27,999. No hidden costs, just a $12 doc fee, $10.50 for a temp tag if you need one, and either $5 or $15 for your title fee depending if the bank is holding your title. Cars are fully serviced with and Mobil 1 synthetic.

I purchased a Sapphire Silver SRT-6 Coupe from Speedway Auto Mall in Machesney, IL.

I can't wait - got a great deal on my 06' Sapphire limited and traded up. - ready for the upgrade.

So what was the deal?

 

$25,665 + $845 shipping to So Cal. I will pay another $400 or so for CA registration. Stored in a indoor warehouse in Detroit, auctioned, then driven to an Indoor Automall in IL. before being sold and shipped to me.

107 Miles and everything is still wrapped in plastic. The pictures show that it is a truly flawless car. Unlike the "new" SRT's I saw on the lots in LA.
Door dings, deep scratches, worn tires (from joy rides?), 175+ miles, baking in the SO CAL sun for 2-1/2 years and at best offer $29.5K.

I owe a big thanks to you FP for suggesting I take my '06 limited to CarMax. Got a great deal @ $21,500.

My total cost to upgrade = $5,100

Wish I would have found the Auction SRT's before I pulled the trigger on my '06 - but wish in one hand and ...

 

Wow what a great deal. 25k is a good price and I think right where it should be at. Not going to pay 28k for these new models. More keep showing up daily and will make it harder to sell at the higher asking prices.

 

No none of these cars were flood cars. They just never sold.
