Default Srt6

i gave my car to chrysler 4 days ago and told them about the problem with the slow acceleration when the supercharger dies out, they called me and told me they test drove it and saw what i was talking about and they are working on it...if they can't fix it what should i do? should i get a lawyer involved if they recognize the problem but can't fix it?

I'd have them look at the intercooler system... someone here had a pump go out and another had something else on the intercooler go out... That would be my first guess because if the super charger is getting too hot the ECU will probably shut it down (disengage the electric clutch on it's drive pulley).

Hope that helps.

It could be the intercooler pump OR the E19 module.

Dude, why are you already bringing up an attorney? Why are you already thinking they can't fix the problem or will try and screw you? A lawyer should always be a last resort not the first course of action. You have a number of other avenues to pursue before you should even start thinking about an attorney.

Give them a chance to fix the problem. If for some odd reason they can not fix the problem give them a chance to step up.

It's hard to say if it affects all SRT6's. It has not happened to my SRT, but I have less than 10K on the odometer.

Had to have the IC pump replaced on my SLK32 at 20K on the odometer. It happened within a week after the Secondary Air Injection Pump Relay was replace and ECU flash per a TSB. Don't you love electrics.
