Total of 12 SRT-6 produced in 2006 Model Year
I think this is going to make a lot of SRT-6 owners happy. According to the latest data from WARDS Automotive Report, a total of 12 SRT-6 were produced for the US as 2006 Model Year vehicles. Total production for the US was 6,191 in model year 2006. I don't yet have the breakdown of Coupes vs Roadsters but I will let you know when I get it.
Please let me know if you see one 4sale. I missed one on ebay not too long ago...
2005 Model Year U.S. SRT-6 = 3,137 Total - 1,183 Coupes and 1,954 Roadsters
2006 Model Year U.S. SRT-6 = 12

That's pretty interesting.
Wonder if that 12 is part of the 2,016 coupes/928 roadsters from 2005 - since they all have 2005 build dates (all that we've seen so far).
Either way, by today's standards - the SRT6 was a very low production vehicle.
Thanks for the info.

I think so, most 2006 models were likely to have been built in 2005 calendar year.
I'd say if anyone has one... they should probably keep it in good condition for sure. 12 is a crazy low number of production cars. They make more Ferraris than that.

There is a dealer advertising on other forum.
They bought about 5-6. He was selling new for about $26-$28K.
05's of course.

Note: I updated the original post with the 2005 Model Year figures.

Over the last 3 months, I've collected 561 SRT6 VINs. So far, around 72% are Coupes and 28% are Roadsters. Something doesn't sound right. Either most people who bought SRT6s bought roadsters and are still holding on to them (therefore they are not showing up on cars.com, ebay, etc.), or the numbers were listed backwards (or there could be another explanation - not sure).

I don't know if there is an explanation, numbers and sample size can do funny things. Your sample size is 2.2% of total production and I don't know from a statistical point of view, if that's sufficient to draw any good conclusions. One thing I can tell you is that the company I work for paid something like $3,000 for those production numbers. For that kind of money, I would expect WARD's numbers to be accurate. That being said, I guess an human input error is not out of the question.

I'm not trying to knock you or your post (please don't think that), but the ratio of SRT6 roadster vs. coupe is the opposite of what DCX's original numbers were and my data.
Not sure what's going on, but I would guess that the numbers are reversed.

I would love to find one of those '06 SRT Coupe in Aero Blue...

Too bad the SRT's are quicker.

By the way thanks again RPM for creating your database...
