Default weirdness

about 35% to 45% of the time i move my steering wheel to the left or to the right more than 3 to 4 inches there is a click/joint/sound coming from the front around the tire and suspension area, any ideas on what it could be, i had chrysler test drive my car for the problem about the supercharger and they also noticed this as a problem and they said they should look into it...anyone else had or have this problem? and did you get it fixed and how?

Try turning the steering wheel 180 degrees and see how much "play" there is. I had to have a new Steering box fitted as the play was excessive and my steering "clunked" too.

It seems to me there is a post here somewhere that there is a problem with a joint in the steering shaft that comes loose and causes a noise. You should have it checked soon.
