Picking up my "New" used SRT tomorrow.
Well, I finally found the right car. I'm picking it up in D.C. tomorrow. I was going to pony up and get a NEW NEW one with no miles, but I decided to go with one with a few miles on it. It's an Aero Blue with NAV, and has about 11,000 miles. Chrysler Corp. Executive car. Picking it up for only $21,000 with Chrysler Pre-Owned Certification. The color and equipment are EXACTLY what I wanted, and the dealer is giving me a stupid good deal on my trade too. Couldn't turn it down... I would have never guessed I'd be able to get one in the $325 a month payment range with no cash down... That's PT Cruiser money.

I thought I got a really great deal at $34,500 w/ 80 miles on it 1 year ago.
Now I'm trying to sell it. So far I've dropped my price $5,500 over the last month. I'm just now starting to get calls.
Well,
Thanks for the warm welcome. So far I can't be happier. It was really sad to leave my beloved SRT-4 behind at the dealership(I had a lot of fun and good memories with that car), but it was time to move on. The ride is a little stiff, and the cabin is "just" big enough for me (6'1", 250 lbs), but I'm comfortable none the less. What I was really surprised about was the fuel mileage. I had to drive 2 hours to get the car each way. When I picked it up, I went straight to the nearest Shell station and topped it off, just make sure it was FULL. I then took a detour and found some NICE back country roads with lots of tight switch backs, and CLEANED HER OUT! after thoroughly enjoying myself for about 50 miles, I found another Shell to top off again to check the mileage. So, after running the **** out of it for 50 miles, I averaged 19.3 MPG. On the drive home down I-95 with the cruise set at 70-75 MPH, it averaged 26.7 MPG. Obviously that was ALOT better better than I had hoped for. So Far, So good, but the brake pads have got to go... After driving it 250 miles (mostly highway) the wheels are already turning black...
So, it's safe to say that I am VERY HAPPY with this car. I actually feel like I'm driving a "real" car now.
On another note, I got my first impressive Kill last night too. A newer Aston Martin (see lots of exotics on every street corner in Northern Virginia) came flying up on me and attempted the fly-by, but as soon as he was next to me, I punched it and instantly pulled 1 1/2 cars on him. I then heard him punch it, and he had NOTHING for me. I continued to pull away steadily. So I guess Commander Bond failed that mission!
I know it was a DB7, and I think it was the GT model (as it had what looked like a small GT emblem in the grill).

They may have us on hp and torque but a porker at over 4,000 lbs.
"In 2002, a new variant was launched, named V12 GT or V12 GTA when equipped with an automatic transmission. It was essentially an improved version of the Vantage, its V12 engine producing 435 bhp and 410 ft· lbf of torque. Aesthetically, compared to the Vantage it has a mesh front grille, vents in the bonnet (hood), a boot (trunk) spoiler, an aluminum gear lever, optional carbon fibre trim and new wheels. It also has 355mm front and 330mm rear vented disc brakes made by Brembo."

Get used to the autostick for down shifting.
Great acceleration while driving. I was driving back roads in
AZ. Came up to 3 motors homes going about 60.
Two other cars behind them.
Dropped down to third, was going 100 mph in a
couple of seconds.. Passed and had open road.
