You Need To See This!!
As you know I have been into all corners of this forum and I have some information that will be of interest to EVERY Crossfire lover.
At the Nationals in Carlisle, PA this year ACrispy1 and I were talking about where our Crossfires were made and he said he had sent a letter to KARMANN and mentioned how we love our car.
I decided that I would approach them from the XFi Founder level and ask if they would provide (and let us share) some assembly line pictures and assorted other construction steps. I explained that they would be posted on our site and I would send them the link.
Today I received a nice letter and DVD from Sonja Boske at the KARMANN Factory located in Osnabruck, Germany.
Here are the pictures (in high resolution) for your enjoyment...

I will post this same Thread in the other two spots in this heading.

JD,
Great post of the manufacturing process...By the way, what's this "previously" 2005 Crossfire Limited and "presently" 2008 Charger SRT8?
Please explain, did you enjoy paying the gas guzzler tax on the sticker? Which area of the Carlisle 2008 show field will you park in and frequent?
Just curious...

Now that is an exciting trip. Did you notice how clean the factory was? I swear that Andrew had a hand in that!
Notice how he insisted that all the workers wear gloves?
Good call.

Thanks for the pix JD and thanks for all you have done around here, I hope we don't have to miss you. It was great meeting you at Carlisle and I'm forever sorry I drive too slow.
