Recalls
The E-19 fan control module fix affected 23,700 Xfires late '03 - '05 build dates, both base and SRT6. If not done, it could let the engine overheat and warp the head... something you don't want. Run a search.

The problem is that if the fan fails then you will overheat. That's why you need to confirm if the TSB applies to your fan assembly or not. Plug your VIN into the Chrysler website and see what comes up.

The needle could indicate 3/4 for me and I still wouldn't be concerned as long as it was outside the red and there was a reason for the climb in temp (120 outside, flogging the car, etc). Now if this happened right after startup then I would be worried. My Dodge, on the other hand, wanders all over the scale and I've just learned to live with it.
