Default Pardon my ignorance...but where is the...?

Where is the build # on these cars?

Everyone has this listed in their sig, and I can't decipher it and couldn't find it using a search.

Just got my SRT and want to know which one I've got!

Are you using the actual last 5 of the vin, or is there a separate # for the SRT's?

Thanks
SQ

Open the driver side door and look at the label. It's the last 5 digits with the 1st being the year of MFG the last four the sequence of build.

So, the last 5 of mine are:

058126 - meaning '05 build date, #8126?

Cool, thanks for the info. Is there any signature engravings, plaques, or anything like that on these 'hand built' AMG engines?

No . . . no . . .
The last 6 digits of the VIN is the build #. Example, mine is 056182, so it is the 56,182nd Crossfire built.

10th VIN digit denotes model year. Mine is a 5 = 2005 model year.

The sticker in the driver's side door jamb lists the build date in this format:
MO/YR, mine is 03/05 or March 2005.

The pic in post #2 is a 2006 model (per 10th VIN digit). The build date is 01/06 (January 2006). It is the 67,205th Crossfire built.

Gee Brian, when I first looked at the photo you posted and saw the build date of 01/06 I immediately wondered why you had an '05 in your sig. Didn't realize at first that the picture was of a different label.

Speaking of pictures, lets see some of your Cessna. And is the FAA going on a rampage in your neck of the woods like they are in San Diego?

So there is no way of knowing which SRT it is?

You would think that the SRT would have its own build number?
