Default "SRT6" badge on seats??

Mine does not have this. Why? All i have is the chrysler emblem. Did they produce some with and without the SRT6 badge? Hmmm...

Do your seats have suede material for the inserts?

If not - someone swapped them with seats from a limited.

If you purchased your SRT-6 new - You need to raise some hell with your dealer.

Never seen an SRT without the emblem. Seats swapped? Are you sure it really is a SRT???

The SRT6 had no interior options besides NAV.
All are black door panels, steering wheel, dash, etc, black seats w/Alacantra Suede and SRT6 embroidered on the headrest.

Sounds like someone swapped them out.

I assume it has a large fixed wing on the back, 15 spoke rims, and a SC under the hood.

Is position 8 in the VIN an "L" or an "N"?

Ok, now I'm kinda pissed! Didn't even realize this until I saw a picture on here today. Anyway, no I didn't buy the car new. I bought it with 35k. The seats are not suede, but they match the interior and exterior of the car. They are the dark gray leather with light grey center. They must have been swapped. Why though? Should I bring this up to the dealer?? I doubt they could do anything for me at this point. The heated seats work so that isn't an issue. Oh and BTW it's an "N" in that 8th position.

I doubt it will do you any good but yea I would raise some hell that they did not disclose that the interior had been modified.

Both the Limited and the SRT have nice seats, but the SRT's are exceptional.

You are entitled to that information and to an explanation, too. I agree with BrianBrave's comparative analysis, but some people just prefer the all-leather seating and could have swapped them for that reason. The fact that the seat heaters work properly means that the job was done right, at least, so that's encouraging. Definitely worth checking, though.

If you purchased the SRT from Chrysler dealer - work the issue for some free oil changes (Mobile 1 W/Fleece filter of course) and/or some accessories, tires etc...

I guess my main concern would be flood or theft recovery, both which may have caused the need for new seats.

I would definitely see what your dealer has to say about it.

Then again, like mentioned, it very well could've been someone who did not like the suede, or who had worn them out already with 35K miles and swapped in a nicer set (albeit non-SRT).

My Limited leather seats on my previous crossfire had a wear spot on the bolster, and it had 27K miles on it. So, they very well could've been worn with 35K miles depending on the previous owner and how he used and maintained them.

Somebody's got some serious explaining to do...

I would be HIGHLY pissed off in that situation. It would also have to question whether it was flooded or a theft recovery... I don't think anyone would want seats that say SRT-6 in their regular crossfire. And Vice Versa. I suppose the wear thing is a possible explanation, but I find it hard to believe that they would be THAT worn in 35K miles. Mine has 15,000 on it, and they still look new. I suppose a REALLY fat or half crippled person could easily put more wear on them, but I'm fat and they still look new...

The previous owner of my '04 Coupe had a 3"x1/4" wear spot on the edge of the seat. He was skinny...but I guess the way he entered and exited the car caused it to rub through the leather. You could see the lighter tan color beneath the black leather and it looked like it was just cracking/flaking off.

I highly doubt that it was a flood victim, but stranger things have happened...Anyway, the carfax report showed that it was a lease here in the Northeast and had two owners. Although I do like the seats, I am upset that it is not "original". I will definitely bring this up to the manager as the car needs to go in for some TLC anyway(Fog light cap, fogged headlights, wind noise from drivers side window). We'll see!!

Scoundrels! Get some cheap seats at a junk yard from a regular Xfire, put them in the SRT6, and try to make some kind of profit by selling the originals on ebay. Ridiculous!!
