Unbelievable. I wonder if it was damaged at one time. Erie gets a ton of snow and maybe they just want to sell it before the snow hits in a month.

Yup Steve, you may be right, it may be Winter Pricing already. They don't want to keep it till spring & it's a Coupe. Maybe I should have waited with my Roadster, they may go down even more % wise?

Notice that the description is misleading. The car is not built on the SLK 350 platform. It's built on the SLK 320 platform.

 

That does not really mean much though... I have heard that many times... and ebay adds have that same mistake often... It just means the guy either does not know much about the car or that the guy is trying to up it's worth...

Similarly to the way many people put adult driven when what does that mean? That an 18+ was driving the car? is that not to take for granted as many that is about the time people get their license?

 

At least in my area the roadsters have pretty much dried up as far as srt's go. Don't see any for sale but there are still quite a few coupes so just by that factor they may hold their value better for awhile.

 

If it's too good to be true it probably is. My guess is that it was in a major collision...

 

I wish I had not bought mine yet. I would have looked into this one real hard. I feel I paid too much. $23,000 for one with 21,000 miles on it but just could not swing much more since it is a second car for us. At least I got the color I wanted which was black.

Still a bargain considering what this car was originally priced.

 

$1K here or $6K there - 3 to 5 years from now it won't add up to squat - as long as you enjoy the car and fun.

 

Just ran a Car Fax on it. It appears to be one of those Chrysler employee one year leases. I was first registered in June 30th 2006. This is plenty of miles in just over a year. Clean Car fax though. Looks like a great deal.

 

If you look at what you could have/ if only have/ wish I had, you'll never get anywhere. Maybe you didn't get the best but you got a good deal. Enjoy!

I got my '04 coupe for full price in 7/03 so did I pay to much? Yeah, but I had lots of fun before the guys and gals who got lower prices than me did.

 

I saw this on Ebay and set to watch it. I wish I could buy this for my wife!!!
