Default VRP pulley

just heard back from vrus who usually makes performance parts for the 55s. such as carbon fiber intake, 80mm throttle body, paddle shifters all sorts of work. he has just made a pulley and is working on one for the slk32 with a performance tune. pricing will be $2,500.

So that price includes the pulley and ECU tune? Do you know where the tune is being done?

Jeez, there's not but so much market share to go around with such a low volume engine. I just can't wrap my brain around why it costs that much to get a pulley and ECU flash. The physical materials probably only cost about $40 bucks...

What HP and TQ gains are being quoted from a pulley and ECU flash for $2,500? Is this a crank or compressor pulley? Guessing its a crank pulley, will accessory pulleys be part of the package to maintain there proper speed and load ratios? Thanks.

It's called inflation, get use to it, the US dollar is almost at $0.70 and who knows how much the Euro is worth, like $1.20 USD.
If those parts where made here they would cost about $1,700 MSRP.

I assume it would be running higher boost then the renntech but close to the same amount as the ASP vrus is on a mission to get 700 hp out of his car and has never cut any corner when creating his products. I believe he will one day be as popular as renntech and EVO he is really well known in the 55 world and every thread I have read about him or his products some post being more then 45 pages long No one has ever complained about his product or come up numbers to prove his numbers wrong. I don't know who the tune would be through but here are some more pictures of his carbon fiber intake, intake tubes and cover beautiful works of art if you ask me.

The renntech pulley and asp pulley give equal psi on the 32s, but are greater psi in the 55s...
