may I see your license?
I'm a big fan of police - I always get warnings - not tickets. They pull me over when I should be pulled over.
In the 'hood where I live we have a private police force and they just got hot chargers.
They should have gotten them in black but they're pretty good in white too.
I've only had one bad police experience in my life and that was on the panhandle - notorious I-10. Maybe some of you know it.
Glad I have this car at 50 and not 20. I push it I think because it's fun/quick but for some reason I don't take it seriously -
it's like a car that would have been in a Dr.Suess book.
I'm definitely drinkin' xfire kool-aid.

I've been real lucky - knock on wood...
I hit 80 everyday multiple times, hit 60 on a 40 mph street; but I've learned to drive with one eye in the rearview mirror - kind of like the way a dragon sleeps. From my early driving experiences I found that most of the tickets I've ever gotten were because I couldn't see/wasn't watching what was behind me.

Damn, am I the only one that has never been puller in their 6? Well, I'm a good boy most of the time. I've been pulled and written up at least 5 times in the last in other cars, but I always get out of it. Haven't had one stick yet. Knock on wood.

I got pulled for doing 63 in a 45. Wasn't paying attention, and let it
creep up. The cop was nice enough to only give me a warning and
suggest I slow down. Once in 3 years is a blessing.

2 ... so far in about 2 years. One going 90 in a 65 at about 2 in the morning on a empty road... I tried to tell the officer if you can't play at 2 am on a empty road when can you? I guess never. The other was 65 in a 55 about 2 months later that was about a year ago now been taking it easy since. Well most of the time.
Drove to Charlotte NC the other day - crossing NC on 85 from VA - Cruise set at 85 - saw headlights coming up fast - figured I was toast - No it was Porsche 911 - it flew by - being the responsible person that I am - did 125 and caught him - I stayed with him for about 30 miles - doing 85 to 115 - then flashed my lights and let him go - fun as it was - not worth the hassle if we stumbled on a cop.
haven't gotten a ticket in the SRT yet. my friends and coworkers are almost disappointed in me.
last year, when it was still my dad's car, i brought it home for a week...then i went to North Dakota with a friend. we rented a Monte Carlo. i got a ticket in northern Minnesota in the damn Monte Carlo. i can't win!

OK...I guess it is time to admit the facts...just the facts. One ticket in the XF 93 in a 70. Pulled over two other times. Told to keep it down to a slower pace. I first on was a rabbit start up to a little over the speed limit. I think he just thought it looked like I was speeding. The second one was after being at a track meet for 10 hours, had just got off the turnpike was second at the light with two yo yos' in front and to my side going 20 in a 40 zone. I impatiently waited for a slight opening and was gone. I proudly zig zag very professionally around those two cars. I started slowing down at about 60 mph when I notice some pretty red and blue lights coming up on me really really quick.
Can I see your license registration and proof of insurance. (Sounds familiar) I told the officer that I just left this track meet that I had been at since 7 am when this lady in an SUV slows down and rolls down her window and yells out that she was glad that the officer caught me. I kind of shook my head downward looked at the officer who was grinning at me. He said stay here for a sec and we talked some bs about the track meet and my daughter and the XF. Then he said take it easy out here. He asked me if the lady was my x wife as he was walking back to his patrol car. We laughed and I told no she was in front of me on her way to the house.
Haven't been pulled over in the past year, but had a couple of close calls. I am trying to set a good example for my daughter, but not doing very good. She got the wrong genes when it comes to driving a bit to fast.

Just got ticketed this afternoon, stationary speed trap catching cars right where limit drops to 55 - they said I was clocked 72 in a 55 but no way was I going that fast, I think they just pulled me over because I was in a group of cars (that were, of course, going faster than I) that were all stopped and pulled over - I had to stop for them so they just pointed me over
Ticket was reduced to 64 in a 55 but I'm going to talk to an attorney - have a legal plan through work so no cost for the attorney... haven't had a speeding ticket in 15 years and don't plan on keeping this one
I'm sure the car didn't help - they stopped a pickup and a Lincoln Town Car in front of me, so I guess I was the only fast looking car in the group and they felt like I was guilty by association... very frustrating

Once they tried to catch me using "super pursuit" -- but I had HYPER THRUST (and the Sepulveda Basin)
