Default Dropped the Ride

I finally got to drop my SRT down from its stilts last weekend. I went with the Eibach Pro-Kit and ordered new spring pads from Chrysler Parts Direct. I didn't know which pads to expect from them since there are 5 different heights available (and only 1 part number on their website). When I got them in I was pleased that they were the number 1s (the lowest). Overall the drop in the front was 1 5/8" and the rear dropped 1 1/2". From the factory my car was equipped with number 2 pads up front and number 3 pads in the rear.

Overall I have to say that the ride isn't any firmer on the small bumps but when I hit a larger one I can really feel it! I kept the OEM shocks for now too. I am very happy with the drop as it looks perfect (as most owners of the Pro-Kit will agree). Pics to follow once I get her all waxed up since the fires are done making their mess.

DID you trim your shock bumpers? if you lowered that much your shocks now have less travel by that much making them hit the bumper easier. the bumper is inside top of dust cover.

Wait until it settles down because the bump will get harsher!

Nope, actually I didn't know that the shocks were equipped with them. You learn something new every day.

most people here do not know about them either of !

they're inside the top dustcover part of the shock.

about 2&1/2" long! the shock may have very little travel after dropping the body down! mine only had about 1.1/2 travel between bumper and lower shock without being in the car!! no weight!!. if you lower your care this much you could be sitting on this bumper!

Check the inner wall of your tire after a few miles. You need to shave that long bolt that's rubbing on your tires.

Are you referring to the front or the rear?

Edit: I got underneath and checked the inside sidewalls of my tires, both front and rear, and didn't see any signs of rubbing.
