Originally, they were thought to be 2005 only - but, I believe we have concluded that there were 13 total made in 2006.

Some of which were sold in the UK.

Sorry...but you're wrong.

There are a dozen or so '06's.

Look at the SRT Build # thread, and you'll see a few with 06 model year.

Default Investment quality ???!!!

Talk about COLLECTABLE !!!

With build numbers that small if you can find a bonafide 06 SRT6 Crossfire and keep it pristine it's a sure bet to be worth some serious money at some point in the future!

Check out the history of collectable muscle cars. Some of the most valuable and desireable cars today were low production "odd-ball" color/option combos which were undesireable when new. My advice; If you find a REAL 2006 SRT6...buy it and KEEP IT!

Well I have found a 2005 and a 2006.

The 05 has 8,000 miles

The 06 has 35 miles

Other than that the cars are the same.

The 06 cost $5,000 more that the 05.

Is it worth the additional cost now. Not thinking 20 or 30 years from now.

I have serious doubts that it is truely a '06. AndyG's '06 has a different SRT6 style badge. 8k miles is not bad. I would pay $5k for less miles. Are they the same in very other way?

There is a 2006 SRT-6 on AutoTrader right now.

Black convertible in Illinois with 28 miles on it.

If only it were a coupe... *sigh* I've grown tired of convertibles... just too noisy for my liking.
