Default Headlight bulb orientation

I recently changed the main-beam bulbs on my SRT 6 for 100 watt high output types. They were the H7 variety OK but the difference was minimal so I swapped back to the originals. This was after I managed to enlist the assistance of a gynaecologist with the fitting The LHF facing bulb, ahead of the water tank, is a right Bar Steward to get at! Is it easier to remove the headlamp module, I wonder?

BTW it is possible to drop an entire bulb inside the headlamp casing I managed to fish it out with a small bar magnet otherwise I would have had to remove the headlamp.

The question is : are my bulbs correctly oriented? I've put the key cut on the bulb at the 12-o'clock position but they still seem to be shinning up at an angle. I've managed to adjust the horizontal spread using the small plastic adjuster nut on the back of the headlamp. This has improved things but the main beam just seems abysmal.

The dip is good (but then I haven't touched those). Maybe the main beam projector lens types are just inherrently bad. The ones on my pevious Jag were poor on dip but much better than the SRT on main.

Any ideas of where I might have gone wrong??

i had Both my headlight's replaced under warranty..

Whole Headlight Replacement
1 there are 2 bolts / screws holding them in ..
2 take out inner finder plastic covers
3 slide the headlight down , take out under the fender

my headlights have a Vertical/ up & down adjustment on the back has a white *** .
from my understanding their are no adjustments for Left to Right
