Default Nos

I was planning on adding the usual mods of intake, pulley, and tune but was wondering if NOS would be too much to add without doing anything to the internals. And if it wouldn't be too much for the engine to handle, what size shot do you think would be safe with the previous mentioned mods? I don't know much about NOS, from what I've read it seems pretty safe if done right.

I was looking at nitrous for my charger. I finally decided against it and I`m installing a cam and heads. Not because nitrous is unsafe but because I want power whenever I feel like. With nitrous you will get huge gains but you need to have the bottle on and warm.

As for the internals I`m not sure myself but I have a feeling these motors can take a whole lot more than what they`ve been fed.

I`m interested to see what this thread brings about. I`m sure there are several differing stories and opinions on this subject.
