Exclamation The Traction Control saved my Bacon

was not a big fan of the traction control
but these cars are smart

last night was on the way home from work ,
thought i would take River Road
a small winding curvie road , i was not speeding but all the sudden
the car went in a sideways slide, it looks like due to construction
near buy something was on the road oil . fuel mud ect ...

then out of no where i was headed toward the side of a cliff sideways
no guard rails . then the car had a hard jerk almost like you put
the car in Park , wow the car just corrected itself , all i could was just hang on ....

needless to say the seat now has a new feature in the middle.

Aw...c'mon Hudoo! Spill it!

You got the I/C pump fixed and decided to drift around a corner!

That T/C will definitely help...but if you are trying to make a maneuver and you DON'T want it, and then it suddenly kicks in, it can hurt you too.

I'm glad it saved ya!

I happen to agree these cars are smart and will recover from losing control of the car. Recently I was driving on the highway going about 60 mph. The roads didn't look so bad, was wondering why everyone was going about 30-40 mph. As I approached a turn I noticed I started sliding and thought Ill just even my way back into the road....

I end up swerving left and right 4 times and come face to face with the guard rail. Now this is what makes me think, what I did was cut the wheel real hard and gave it some gas as it came to a complete stop after spinning out.

I was sure that Id be in the river by then.
