is it possible to just go to autozone and buy LED tailights for the srt6? cuz i don't like the lights it comes with stock...i think led will look much nicer, and do they also have the clear plastic covers for the front side lights instead of yellow that comes stock?

kid, if you know someone that drives an srt-6 send him over to this board... And now so I don't look bad for saying all this and make this post a little more relevant:
There are no LED systems or tail light assemblies made for the SRT-6, if there was one we would know of it.
LED light bulbs, that you can find at AutoZone could be used instead of the regular light bulbs but :
1st problem will be the space, it will be hard to fit in the stock assembly
2nd the tail light bulbs in this german made car are nothing like the stuff you find at Autozone, if you take them out you will see.
As for the clear side markers... you can only order those from CTD or Ebay, and they are around $80-$100 bucks shipped.

Well, in all fairness, you did look, as did I and all others who posted with only Sidez actually offering any real assistance. But to the original question about finding LED tail lights on a shelf at AutoZone..... everybody knows PepBoys has a much more extensive rice isle. And I do believe they speak !omg! there too.

If you really DO have a SRT6, please do not post pictures. Accidently seeing one with 'tezzas, $5 stickers, or vinyl graphics would surely cause me to vomit on my keyboard.

 

but my car is completely stock, i just wanted to give it a nice look with some LED lights...i dont think thats such a bad thing to do

 

No such taillight housing is available for our cars however; you can replace the stock bulbs with LED’s. Search the Exterior & Lighting section for the bulb numbers (it’s a sticky) then search ebay.
My signature + lighting enhancements = LED’s

 

I don't think LED bulbs in stock light housings are such a bad thing....but I doubt you'll find them at Auto Zone.

I actually think led tailights that look factory would make the car look up-to-date and classy, but they would need to be dark housing....no rice chrome housing F&F looking stuff.

Id actually pay some pretty good $ for some if the design was to my liking.
