Default New bling for my baby

I had seen this plate cover for the SRT 4's and the 8's but had never seen one calling out the SRT 6 logo. I found a vendor on e-bay called Custom-Werks and e-mailed them to see if one was available. This is part number 9042497, I paid less than $30 including shipping to get it here. It took about 2 weeks to get it. Thought you might like to see it,as I had never seen one before like it.
I have tried to attach a few pics but can't figure it out. I have added them to my gallery if you are interested.

Uh, didn't see any pics in your gallery. To post pics you have to have a URL. You can do that by uploading them to a place like photobucket, then click on the url link to that picture and place in the message by clicking on the icon that looks like a mountain and sun in the tool bar.

Very nice, a plate cover was the first thing I bought for mine. I had a generic one made, it say's Crossfire across the top in letters that match the OEM letters. I couldn't find a good pic of the whole thing, but I found one that shows the bottom, I sure like your's a lot better. Well damn, pic won't load, oh well it was nothing to write home about.

That is the first SRT6 product I've seen that uses the original font and style. EXCELENT
The plate is on my list.

Very nice, I definitely want one of these. Did they list it on an auction for you, or did you just buy it outright?

A link to their ebay store would be great. I thought I was the only one who thought it was strange that there isn't any SRT6 branded stuff out there.

Beware of license plate frames, even ones that look this nice, in Texas. (And maybe other jurisdictions as well?)

http://www.publiustx.net/item/2861

Texans who unintentionally cover even a small portion of their car's license plate can be stopped by police, ticketed and perhaps arrested for the offense, the state's highest criminal court ruled Wednesday.

The 8-1 decision left three Court of Criminal Appeals judges holding their noses — proclaiming the statute "uncommonly bad," but acknowledging that the letter of the law prohibits drivers from encasing their license plate in a frame that obscures the state name, state nickname or even portions of the artwork.

Unfortunately, the law as written unintentionally endangers civil liberties, Judge Cathy Cochran wrote in an opinion that, while siding with the majority, raises concerns about the ruling's impact.

"It is a 'gotcha' law because it allows the police to arbitrarily stop, ticket, arrest and search any person who is driving a car whose license plate frame covers up any portion of that plate's design," Cochran wrote in an opinion joined by Judges Tom Price and Cheryl Johnson. "Look around you — the vast majority of drivers on Texas roads and highways can be stopped and arrested at any given moment."

Still, Cochran wrote, under a law revised in 2003, "it is a crime . . . if that frame obscures even the tiniest bit of the doo-dad design details of the standard-issue Texas license plate."

A down right stupid law id love to see them justify logically(but they dont have to).

Before they get me for a bracket they will get me for no front license plate whatsoever.

Sherry7, I had to e-mail them and inquire if they had one. If you will e-mail them and call out the part number thet can get you fixed up. It took about two weeks to get it to me.
