Congrats!! - was this the one that had about 4Kmiles on it and has navigation? A clone to my car - I'm sure you're gonna love it!

svo: yes indeed. 4.4k miles. Other than not being able to break it in myself, it might as well be brand new. And bought for half the original sticker - though I had to pay for the transport.

redlinedrummer: it took almost a week to get the car picked up. After that, it came across the country quite fast - 6 days on the truck.

Several "firsts" here for me, including first SRT-6 (or should I say "first AMG"?), as well as my first ragtop. I owned -- and loved -- a little '91 MR2 with a T-roof quite a few years back. Glad to have the breeze back in my face once again.

I was looking at that one - i think it was originally looking at that one. How much did you get if for. I noticed it was going to be sent to auction and was advertised at 26Kish

Great car and in fact I think I still have pictures of YOUR CAR :-)

While unfortunately, I don't belong to the SRT-6 club (yet, just a limited here)... I have been a member of the MR2 ranks! I had a 93 MR2 Turbo that I sold right before moving to Georgia. Great car, had a few mods and was a runner!! I would buy another in a heartbeat. IF one could be found! LOL!

Here is a gallery to some pics, I took these when I had it up for sale. I sure do miss that car.

Sorry to hijack the thread, congrats on the new car!

Beautiful pics; brings back memories. I didn't get the turbo on the MR2 [another first for my new SRT-6], but even so it *was* a runner. Built to last, too. I put over 200k on it before honorable discharge. Not to mention the time the bear ran into the car.

svo: I got it for a little less than the (reduced) advertised price, but I did negotiate to have the car Certified - it was a 5 Star dealer. Good folks to do business with.

Wingman, Welcome to the ranks. I hope you get every bit of enjoyment
out of your SRT-6 as I have from mine. Yeah, there are a couple of little
imperfections and a re-call or two, but nothing serious (unless you don't
get it taken care of). Good luck, and happy motoring.
