Distant, what was the DA the most recent night you had problems?

You should cruise up and run this Saturday at Street Wars(12-5pm). Then if I don't manage any better times I can just "permanently borrow" your slips.

I might go on Nov 1st for the Nationals if the points are close. No racing just spectating. I say you come set the record here in December. With your times at your DA you'd easily be in the 11's here.

I've got a couple tricks up my sleeve and they should allow me to finally break into 11's here in vegas.

Hey just got a call that some people bailed and some broke at the last team race and I'm in for the ET Finals. So looks like I'll be racing from Wed on and hopefully go rounds like last year. Wow if you could break 11's in anything better that 1600' DA, it's smoking fast.

Well, it looks like I might not be racing this(upcoming) weekend. I took off my 185 pulley and put the 181 in and when I tried to torque the shitty alan bolts to spec two of them just stripped out the heads!!!! I can't believe this $hit..........last time I tried taking it off several of the bolts just sheared in half and now this crap. I'm gonna try to see if a local store might have them(or something better) in stock.

PS Where are the ET Finals............AZ or NV?

That sucks. Glad mine don't have any screws. It's in AZ this year first time in quite a few years. Usually too hot.

600-700 ft. I am driving this car to it's absolute fullest potential. The weather is good for 11's easily with the right tune. It's just not there yet.

Yeah, me too! The weather is getting real good these days. I am waiting to hear back from Jerry on the tune. Hopefully this coming week we can get another tune on the car and run it. Friday perhaps?? We'll see.....

Cool, although the track usually BLOWS on a friday night. I am not going to get good times more than likely, but at least I will be able to tell if the tune is there with datalogging + A/F and trap speeds.

Why does the track blow on a friday night?

Little to no track prep. Tuesdays are good because they actually prep the track for the gamblers race.

Street night. So basically you'll have all the frankenstein projects out and of course all the ricers and douches trying to tell you that your car doesn't have forged internals. LMAO.

ROFL. Nice.

P.S. Did you notice he taped off his rear fender wells...for his stock GTO...come on now...a little rubber on the fender wells means you know how to have a good time.

Yeah, that guy is an annoying tool! He askes me everytime I go, "What does that thing run". Like it's the first time he's seen me there. I tell him and then he just doesn't STFU! I have to walk away, I can't take it. And I am a patient and laid back guy too! lol

After cleaning all the rubber off my rear bumper after the first two trips to the track I noticed new paint chips/scratches. Since then I always tape up the rear bumper.

Glen, you can use a little wax. That is what I use (when I remember, which is seldom!) lol. Easier to take off too.
