That's ok, at least we would not be loosing to a stupid ricer or anything. And besides after lunch it's bracket racing so anything can happen. You may have miss your calling and win the whole thing.

I pretty sure they have unleaded race fuels there but they will cost you. I would bring your own 93, about 5 gal. and have about 1/2 tank to start off with. I am trying it again this friday night at US 41. It looks good, the rain will be out of the area by late morning. The night drags start at 6pm to 10pm, you know I am going crazy wanting to test & tune before the 12th.

ChicagoX, I just sent you a PM with a couple questions, but I thought you may want to reply here too for those that do not have strong tie's to the MB World. Basiclly giving us a run down on how things are going to play out throughout the day, the only thing I've read on the MB site was about the bracket racing in the afternoon. Here is the PM I sent, (copied & pasted).
Hey ChicagoX, I've read through the MB World and the only thing I've read is that there would be bracket racing in the afternoon, but nothing said about the morning events. I was wondering if you could answer a couple questions for me. I'm guessing the morning will be test & tune, will it be okay to make a few runs on my street tire's then switch over to a pair of Hoosier DR's to see what kind of difference they make? And the main question is, my wife is coming with me and she will really be pissed if she don't get to make a couple runs down the track before the bracket racing starts. Will she get to make some runs in my car? Or someone else's
.
Thanks, Steve

Steve, if she can race, she can drive mine and race you. That would make a nice video.

. I'd like to see the guy that has that E63 let her get into that for a run down the track
OT: The C63 is rated at 451, the E63 at over 500.
Very minor differences between the two. Just like with the E55s....they rated them at 469 instead of 493 in the other, more expensive platforms.
The 55k motors all dyno pretty much the same.
Back on Topic:
You can start making passes at 9am. Feel free to try out any tire combo you would like. Keep in mind that they will be prepping the track out to the 330' mark, and anything in a Drag Radial or stickier will really benefit from the VHT.
I plan on getting there at 8-8:30am, swapping out my streets for DRs and making as many passes as I can. I do not mind if you switch drivers/cars/underwear throughout the day....that's the advantage of a track rental versus a Test&Tune day.
Last time, one of our attendees walked out of there with over 40 slips.

I forgot.....isn't posting a PM a violation of the Terms Of Service of this board and a bannable offense?

Just busting them a bit...
I was thinking about starting the Bracket Race around 2pm. A single elimination should take just over an hour or so, leaving time for a few more passes and the awards ceremony before they shut down the track at 5.

[EDIT] That was bad after thinking about it. I gotta quit holding in my farts, they creep up my spine to my brain and gives me a $hitty sence of humor
