With all the hype on these tunes, pulleys, and cooling systems and all, times seem low And yes I understand DA problems, we have it all over the midatlantic in fact it's around 3000 right now. I'm glad you guys had fun, but I was expecting some better times. There are quiet a few guys with less mods that are going as fast or faster under similar conditions.

LET now has the #2 and #3 fastest C32's!

I didn't even run my car!
I was wondering what the C32's were running, in an earlier post I had said I thought the SRT 6's had ran better runs than any of the C32's. I went through all my slip's and tried to match up car's with their #'s off the MB board, I couldn't find where I had ran with any - congrat's on the 12.42. In the same post I'd asked if anybody that was there knew, but I don''t think anyone said anything. How many C32's were running, I don't know the Benz line up that well?

Thank's again to LET & CPT for sponsoring the event and ChiciagoX for his part, I had a great time witch is something I don't get to have very often. It's a bummer that I live so far away from the area up there to come up & play more often.

Yes, I would have expected better times as well, but after watching the videos, it seemed traction was an issue! At least the runs RIOT made......

BTW, after my LET tune, my car sounds like RIOT's! The supercharger is VERY pronounced! My dad said something to me after my first round yesterday.

Check my gallery for photos,,,,

And yes traction was an issue....I was spinning so much it was a joke....I could only break into the 12's by rolling into the pedal.

Oh and Steve....Jakes C32 beat my car with Jerry driving my car by lil bit.

I wish I had some slicks like Steve was runnin!

K.K.

Where'd you drop the extra weight? I thought the SRT-6 weighed in at 3240 without driver...?

Calculating with the new weight, you laid down at least 323.89 whp. Keep in mind that doesn't include power lost to wheel spin, roll resistance, or air resistance. So you actually laid down more than that. But that is the physical minimum amount of energy required to move your car that far that fast.

That's great winter weather for me. My race last night was 86 degrees at 10pm! I ran a 12.90 at 88mph, it was bracket racing and I let off and still broke out. I was alot hotter earlier and I couldn't break a 12. Believe me when I say 6 degrees makes a huge difference. I ran 2 qualifying sessions each about 45 mins apart. With a first round loss that was only 3 runs in a 3 hour period. I think people here are confusing the HE for performance parts. The pump or HE isn't going to give you a quicker et. Now on a road course where your driving for more than 3 minutes at a time, is a different story. Even as hot as my conditions are, a HE isn't going to improve my times unless eliiminations is back to back like Pinks. Fortunately that's only hollywood. Real ET races have so many cars in 4 brackets or more, that your lucky to get back in the lanes in 45 min or less. I think under the perfect conditions and the best track prep available that this track elevation can give up an 11 sec run. So more of you have to go next time and pay for the VHT to be sprayed throughout the day. Glad everyone made it safely home and had a great time. For you new guys welcome to the 1/4 mile club.

The DA (density altitude) was atrocious at well over 2500 ft for most of the day, but it was great seeing all of the cars go down the track.

I'm sore and sunburnt, but it was an awesome time. Thanks to RIOT for letting me make a couple of passes in that animal.

I was sore and just beat yesterday, I think from all the work loading/unloading the car, all my stuff and that long a$$ drive there & back. Since I did walk away with the fastest R/T trophy, I was wondering if I was really deserving of it (R/T 0030, I think was my best). But just to convince my self I went through my slips last night (34, I think) and I had 1 red light - 2 red lights running agianst me - 1 where I ran alone. But out the 30 slip's left, I had 23 slip's with better R/T than the person I was running against. That made me feel better about getting you guy's best R/T trophy, I thought that was pretty good for my first time at a track (win 23, loose 7 out of 30 on R/T). I wish I would had known you didn't have a car to run, I would have let you take mine down the track.

I weighed mine with a 1/2 tank of gas and me not in it once and if I remember right it weighed 3,070. I'd have to do a forum search from when I was setting up my G-tech meter to be sure, it might have been 3,170.

Steve Hellums accepts the trophy for fastest reaction time

For your first time out that is a great R/T. I qualified fifth this past weekend with a .017 It took me about 4 times out before I got the coveted .000 With how close these cars are side by side, it's all about the R/T.

Bikecop & I ran several side by side runs, but once my IAT's started getting hot he would slowly pull away from me. He had the water/meth system to help keep his IAT's down better. The more I ran the slower my times were, but it cost me close to $400 to attend this event (including the motel room) and gas to get there and back. So I was going to make as many runs as I could, I think I only shut my car off maybe 3 times all day.

I don't want to pi$$ anybody off, or start a forum fight. But I personally don't think the 1.5 60ft was a true reading, I ran 80% in the 1.8's & 3 or 4 1.7's @ the 60ft mark all day long. Here is a slip of me running in the same lane as RIOT did right behind him, I'm car #19 check out my 60ft time and a 10.30 E/T. "If it's to good to be true, it probably isn't". I have some slip's in my gallery, I'm going to try to post up a couple of my best runs, but It might not be till tonight - busy as hell at work. RIOT, I really hope I didn't make you mad at me for saying I didn't think the 1.5 60ft was true - I know you have a slip that say's you ran it.

Here is RIOT's 1.5 60ft running against me, my car was getting hot by this run.

Here is another run between RIOT & I, the runs were just a few minute's apart. My car was still running hot.

Here are some of my runs before my car started getting hot. There is a 1.7 60ft in the one I ran by myself.

I'm #19 & bikecop is #17. I kind of wish I would have shut my car off to let it cool down some so I would not have got up in the high 12's, but I was there to run as much as I could. Sorry to make 3 post in a row, but you can only load 4 attachments at one time.
