Yeah, it does. Check farther back on this thread.

It is basically a connection to the Tranny that tells it to downshift and put your eyeballs into the back of your head.

Cruise at about 50. Press down to the floor. When you meet resistance, press harder. "Click"

Be sure the runway in front of you is clear. Do not try this at home.

Do you think I can get 11.5's if I find this click your talking about?

It doesn't work that way. It is a passing gear. No more than that. It doesn't change anything with regard to a standing start.

As to the six speed version. Come on. You bought a manual. So, do it manually. When riding in 6th gear (or even fifth) Simply step the throttle pedal to the floor. You will feel the engine load and start to mildly accelerate. Quickly, push the clutch in as you drop two gears. Do not let up on the throttle. Let the clutch back out, quickly.

The engine will free spin for a second and then ....POW, passing gear.

Hard on the clutch and the drive line, especially if you miss the gate. But, if you do it right you get and o-m-g.

If you are driving an NA you only get an o-m-g. That includes auto sticks as well. However in an SRT you get an O-M-G.

It is the reason I talked Cathy into one.

Worth every coffee and rose I bought her this year.

The guy in the seat next to me didn't say a word until we got off the highway. His first words, "Oh my god!"

WHAT A RUSH!!!

(Don't tell Cathy)

People say a lot of things when they've just had their eyeballs flattened in their sockets.

My various female passengers have been either gigglers or screamers.

I like it either way.

Evan, you definitely have it. Next time you have the safe opportunity, floor the car. Then, push a little harder and you will feel like a button or bump being compressed downward.

Sorry Franc I was just having fun with you. My warp button probably will put 4 car lengths on a stock SRT6 in about 3 seconds.

Cathy's SRT is well modded, Code 3, CAI, Belt wrap and a tune. Tonite, on the way home, I introduced her to her car.
At about 40-50 MPH I punched it. Three seconds or so later we were over 100.

Three seconds later, she started breathing again and said, "what a beast."

I reminded her that it was her beast and she replied softly, " I know."

Way to treat the six the way it should be.

That's a quick car I'll probably only put 2 car lengths on that one, maybe a little more because he was spraying meth on the 12.33. Now it does have a heat exchanger so if we do it in 114 degree weather you'll probably put 5 cars on me. LOL

Passing gear.

On low powered cars we used to call it "super noise" as the car would downshift and the engine would rev hight, but nothing else happened. However, on the Crossfire...
