Default Warning SPAM from Beto7650@yahoo.com

I keep getting a spam pop-up message from

Beto7650@yahoo.com

The message says:

"I'm selling a new Orifginal Navigation Ravio for a crossfire"

Any input on how to disallow fiilthy, rude, scumbag advertisers from barging in, uninvited?

Wow, this beto7650 is a habitual spammer. He's even spamming this thread with a whole bunch of posts saying basically the same thing, LOL.

It would be rude for me to show up at the local car show and interrupt an automotive conversation with a billboard advertising a product for sale.

It's also inappropriate to barge into an online discussion, and PM a bunch of people in bulk with an unsolicited product advertisment.

SPAM (electronic) is defined, by Wikipedia, as "unsolicited or undesired bulk electronic message." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam

SPIM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam may also be an appropriate clarifying definition.

"Messaging spam, sometimes called SPIM,[1][2][3] is a type of spam targeting users of instant messaging (IM) services." -Wikipedia

This is inappropritate, and impolite. Please don't SPAM me again.

If you feel that this is indeed spam (which it doesn't appear far from it), PM andrew or mightyjlr. They can take care of the member in question.

I agree with RPM. Maybe not the best way of trying to sell something. Paging is a feature not many use. I use it for one-on-one only but you can send it to all that are on-line at the moment.

I got the same message. Why couldn't he just post a message in the forums? I thought it was spam too and would never respond to such. Much less purchase something from it.
