Trade SRT Coupe for SRT Roadster
I was looking for a roadster and the amount that I would get for a trade is really, well, not good. I saw a roadster in cars.com for $21,985 with 19,000 miles on it. They offered me $17,500 for mine with 17,000 miles. Thats $4,395 plus tax and title. Ain't no way!! Your thoughts are appreciated.
MSRP for the Coupes was ~47k. MSRP for the Roadsters was ~51k. 4k difference doesn't seem far off to me. If you like the coupe, keep it, if you want a roadster, might not be a bad deal.
Good luck.
Good luck.
If it's a dialy driver, I would look at it this way. What percent of the year can you drive it with the top down versus driving with the top up in cold weather? If I had to drive around most os the time with the top up I would keep the coupe. If I could have the top down most of the time I'd do the roadster.

Actually, that is not a bad deal. It seems the convertibles are going for a substantial bit more that the coupes - maybe it is just because spring is here. I don't remember what the difference is in the cost but I know it is over $3,000.
I just paid $19,000 for a certified 3,981 mile SRT coupe last week from a five star Chrysler dealer. Considering the $500 dealer cost for certification, plus the detailing and first scheduled maintenance he has to do, $17,500 for your car seems quite reasonable.
As far as the price on the convertible, that is very well priced, at least from what I have been seeing in the marketplace for the last 2 months.

This is the best place to get advice. I'll probably keep the coupe and enjoy. It would be great to have a convertible. We do have at least 5 months that we could have the top down. I agree about the 17,500. Thats not a bad offer after looking at everything.
