I am going to make a custom intake for my srt6, since I have not picked it up yet has anyone measured the size of the Y pipe that connects to the throttle body? Is it 3"? I need to know so I can order the correct connectors. Is it a 45 degree bend on that?

If anyone else has made their own, care to share what parts you used?

Heres my photos of the y pipe when I was porting the intake, FYI. Hope that helps, its oval and I di not try to fit a pipe into it as I reused the stock piece,
The throttle body had a size about three that the Needswings connected to if that is what you were asking.

I got it figured out now

 

What part # is the Y pipe you were porting. I have an N/A and can only assume that's a stock piece from an SRT. I'm hoping to utilize it for a dual cold air set-up.

 

Please keep in mind the y-pipe that Waldig posted pics of is not the intake y-pipe at the throttle body. It is after the supercharger and is under boost.

 

Yeah, whcih y pipe are you ralking about? The one in pic is not the one for a CAI mod.
