When you say "waaay to touchy" are you refereing to the CD player jumping to another track(s) mid song? Mine does that but I've only tried one CD so far. I thought maybe the CD itself was defective.

I havent noticed any issues with my CD at all. Seems to play from beginning to end flawlessly. Maybe its those 9G truns and potholes!

Maybe your unit is defective? I've been using the stock CD player for about
3 1/2 years, and I've never had a skip. In that time, I've put 58K miles on
the car, and have traveled some rough patches of road. Take it to the
dealer and have them replace it under warranty.

I'm not positive but I believe others have also had that issue and it turned out to be a defective stereo. Try doing a search and see if it turns anything up that can verify anything for you one way or the other.

Agree that this is likely a defective unit. I'm very careful about bumps and potholes, but haven't had one skip.
