My Theory on HE Pump
MMV TIMELORD
I plan on adding about a 2 gallon reservior later this year to expand the capacity of the Air Charge Cooler system. Hopefully that will lower my IATs as well.
Where are you going to find the room to put a reservoir that holds 2 galloms and where are you getting the reservoir. I need tofind something to replace Ashley's washer res.

However, the way the artilce reads makes it sound exactly the opposite...the way you described it. Upon me pointing this out some members helped clear this up and when i re-read it i understood it.

I checked and the holes are 5/32". I think the MB conversion that Brian mentioned above would be the better solution. Also using the CM30 pump and an after market HE. But this one is quite easy and it if lowers the temps 25 degrees or more, that's all good.

Before I changed the pump I would get a really noticable blast of power at around 3000. Now that I installed the new pump it revs faster to the 3000 mark and the "blast" is less noticable since the rev from 0-3000 is so much more linear now. Maybe my wording is wrong using "engaging", but I sure do notice SC around 3000 rpm.
You can fit a 2 gallon tank in the trunk if you move some stuff around. Here is a quote and pics from a thread I started a while back.

My car ran like crap before this mod, I.E. supercharger not engaging half the time. With my IC system it always works now and I have the ability to super cool it by dropping dry ice directly into the tank. I have tested the dry ice once on the street and it seemed to work great. The coolant was chilled to the touch and the car pulled stronger on the street. I have yet to test the dry ice at the track, but next time I will.
Here's the video I made when I finished it. I have made a couple small modifications to eliminate the kink 3/4" in the pump feed hose and sealed th tupperware with silicone.

It's ghetto but it was cheap and it allows me to enjoy my car everytime I hit the gas now. The concept is there I just need to clean it up I suppose.

Anywho, the good news is I discovered a fairly large area beneath it to locate my pump and reservoir. I should have done this before I drilled my holes but oh well I'll make it work.
There were some electronics in the area that I relocated to a cubby hole behind the wheel well. Not sure what they are for, but one said this side up, so I bolted it accordingly to one of the rear tailight bolts.
This is good news for those wanting to keep their trunk space like me.
Pics are below.

BTW my "tank" is 2 gallons and with my dual aluminum 1/2" lines and 3/4" lines, I'm probally at 3 gallons total capacity.
AMG Jerry has a very clean setup along the same lines as mine.

What MB mod that Brian mentioned are you referring to?
Is this the Ford Ligtning tank?(pretty sure it is)
Has anyone checked to see if it will fit in the space of the stock battery? Id rather put the battery in the trunk vs running coolant lines all the way back. I realize you can contain more water that way but i dont like the idea of coolant lines running under/in the car.

I had an idea of something similar, but didnt know how much water could be stored in that area. 1.8 gal aint bad.
Too bad its not for sale yet. Ill probably have mine built before its released.
