Default InMotion Tuning

we began working with James at InMotion and we are now runnign their calibrations, the car picked up a very noticable gain right out of the box on wednesday and got stronger as we got some miles on it, the car is now loosing traction thru 2nd gear

so we packed up and went to the dragstrip yesterday, the weather report called for 50f and cloudy the day before, yesterday ended up being 80f and extremly humid out at the track = the car should be noticably slower then it was last week when we went 12.18 @ like 55F.

the car went consistant high 12.1's-low 12.2's. we ended up beating our 12.18 pass but only by a few hundreths. the car should have fallen off by a few 1/10th's due to it being 25deg warmer and extremely humid out btu that was offset by the new tune in the calibrations. overall im very happy with the addition of the pcm and believe if it was on the car last week we would have had 11's.

we'll try again this comming week!

thanks again to james for the lightning fast tunaround!

Very nice; someday soon one of us will see 11's. On a side note; I was talking to a guy yesterday at the dyno shop that says his buddy is running 11.2's. We BS'd about it for a while and all that I could get out of him was that it was up in Utah and that it was a NON SRT Crossfire that's supposedly running low 11's. I didn't bother calling him out but I am 99.9% sure it was BS.

Are you planning on collaborating with InmotionUSA for tunes for the N/A Crossfire with your air intake?

InMotion charges $350; $500 for a custom tune (needed if you've done a pulley swap.)

maybe one of these days you can talk James into giving us access to software for doing the v8 conversion.
imagine the collector status if you could produce V8 supercharged crossfires using the m113. wow that would be a $60,000 car easily

I have an SL65 AMG in the shop rite now that is leaning towards a total loss...........imagine that wonderful engine in the 6(although I'd rather put it in my Conquest).

If there is a local dealer in your area it can be done same day otherwise you must pull computer and send it to James at InmotionUSA and he will turn it around quick for you but it will still take about two days.

im not sure where any companies are located that james has set up but ill check. btw, overnighting the pcm to them with hefty insurance was only $25ish, he then flashed the pcm and overnighted it back the same day
