WOW one of the very few 2006 SRT Roadsters.

 

Got it on my watch list. BlueChocolate has me physced to buy one for the wife. I have a plan, first I convince the wife and then I figure out the financing.

Now I gotta go and buy my lotto ticket.

So then why doesn't it have the fender badges on it?? I thought all the 06's did.

 

My exact thoughts, maybe this SRT6 was one of the first of the 2006 SRT6's models and it slipped through with the 2005 badges. The 2006 sales brochure also indicated the windshield surround moulding would be painted the same color as the body, but none of the identified 2006 SRT6's indicate that change for 2006. With only 10-13 produced, it was to short of a run to make the changes. This car is overpriced, regardless of the model year.

No U.S. SRT6s had these, regardless of being a 2005 or 2006.

 

It's an '06 with a build date 09/05 must be close to the 1st '06 made ?

 

I thought all US ones had 2005 build dates.

 

This has been for Sale by this Dealer on Auto Trader w/19 Miles for almost six months, I've been watching it regularly, it now, I see, has 42 Miles, (It's almost worn out! )

No US 2006 SRT6's had the Fender Badges, only the European(2) & Canada(1) & NZ(AU)(1) ones so far.


All the US ones appear to have consecutive VIN #'s, all made the Same Day in 09/05, #s 169 thru 173, I believe.

The European, & others have 2006 build dates, I believe, they are All Coupes so far, that I've gathered on this site.

The 2006 SRT6 Roadster, I'm buying Sat/Sun appears to be the Last 2006 SRT6 Roadster ever made # 172.

I have some more info on the 2006s, but that's it for Now!

Then if all 06s have consecutive #s then they were all built appx. 9/05- 11/05.

That's Not true, I didn't say that, I said All US 2006 Appear to have about 5 or six consecutive #, they would therefore have been built on the Same Day in 09/05( for Extra Quality Control, as they were All Show Cars Only) Then the Production of 2006s for the Regular Market, was Axed!
All the Other (NON-US) of the 12/13 or so of 2006 SRT6s built for Promo Only, it appears, were built in 2006, from the Threads we have had on this site already.
