Trying to figure out what I want to do to my car exhaust wise. Besides the resonator delete, does any one have and vids/pics of aftermarket setups (other than just the resonator delete) on the SRT? I'll prob just do the resonator delete, as from what I have read/experienced our AMG exhaust is good for stock.

The main reason for my change from stock is for a new sound/look, not to gain hp(any additional hp would be welcomed, but that’s not the purpose for this mod, for me). Not sure if I would be happy with just the resonator delete, as in this video I can't even tell a difference.

IMO Magnaflow sounds good on n/a crossfires... but how would it sound on an SRT?

 

Check with 240M3SRT, he's putting together an exhaust for our cars.

 

My gallery has some pics of a custom exhaust. It was already on the car when I bought it so I don't know how much is cost.

 

There is a big difference in sound from the stock exhaust to the resonator delete. PM Valkryriderguy and he will tell you.

 

Since this mod, for me, is not for hp and just a better sound/look, I don't want to spend more than $300-$400. I was thinking doing the resonator delete and changing the muffler.

Anyone done this? How loud do you think it would be? Would it sound similar to the n/a xfire?

No drone for me. IMHO it's a perfect mix of good sound but not overly loud or obnoxious.

It cost me around 100.00 and its well worth it for the performance sound that you get , with no drone in the cab .

 

Needswings is working on a complete SS bolt on. Don't know when it's supposed to be done or cost.

Let me tell you if you want some sound but not the drone at any RPM a resonator removal on a SRT6 is all ya need to do.
IT SOUND AWESOME !! But not to loud and obnoxious
