Default Wanting to purchase SRT

I am in the market for a SRT, most preferably Black but will settle for Silver and hoping to spend no more than 18K. I live in Louisville, Ky and am willing to travel, also need to trade in a car if possible.
I found one in Bonham, TX at a Dodge Dealership and have been in some hopeful talks, but really dont want to have to travel that far unless its absolute needed. Would like to close on one in two weeks max. Any help would be much appreicated, i have been creeping around and following almost every post in the SRT blog and cant wait to be able to jump into the race to be the first to break into the 10s. i just sold my harley and have some cash ready to put down i some goodies soon as i get it, im cant leave anything alone that i own so i am excited about finding out really what these cars are really capable of. Its seems to me the surface is just now being scratched in finding out how much power can be made with them.
Also is anyone familar or close to this dealship, if so i would love for someone with some SRT Xfire knowledge to check it out if before i make the 6xx mile trip out there.

This dealership is about an hour from me and they have a pretty "shady" reputation around the area. If you run a search on the forum for their name, I believe you will find a few post about them. I am not sure where they find all the crossfires, but I have heard that they are not in the "Showroom" condition that one would expect.

Thumbs up Re: Wanting to purchase SRT

i've got your car, it's a silver saphire SRT with 4500 miles. Bought it new, garage kept, never in the rain or parked in the sun. No scratches, dents, no accidents the car is nearly new. I'm located in Sarasota, FL area and the asking price is $27,000.

Thanks for the two cents i have been talking to some guy there at the dealership and he is trying to spit that B.S. car salesman pitch that if i dont jump on this deal ill never find one this good again, and that so many people are interested that it wont be there long. I am going to hold out until i can find one for 18k or less b/c i know its possible i might just have to hold out longer.

I bought an aero blue SRT6 coupe with 13K about 2 months ago from a Chev-Cadillac dealer in Columbia, TN (about 30 minutes from Nashville). They were asking $20,990 but I ended up getting it for $18,500....the easiest and most pleasant car purchase I've ever made. It had the nice Michellin tires on it, but did have a 4" scrape on the rear bumper that I had repainted for $225.00. I had to look for about three months to find it though.

Bought mine from Bonham and that was the same pitch he gave me….LOL. I didn’t pay too much attention to him since I knew what I was looking for. ALL of their Crossfire’s are outside with bird droppings and crickets everywhere . Most of there Crossfire’s had some sort of damage like haze headlights, minor paint blemish, web rims, missing lower grille, etc . Personally, I would not buy from them unless you or someone trusts worthy inspects the car. The guy told me they bought all there Crossfires (30+) at a Chrysler Dealer Auction when I bought mine back in July or Aug.

Good Luck!

I got my SRT-6 at Bonham last summer. Most of the good ones they had are gone by now. I highly suggest you go se the car before you buy.
