If you're gonna buy it within the next week, don't forget to use the 20% off coupon.

Also, Cliff's notes: a 178mm crank pulley will make more boost than the SC pulley, but the SC pulley is much easier to install

They make the same boost, and maybe even more. I always see 16-17 lbs of boost. And yes, they are way easier to install.

I just installed a boost gauge this week and have not had a real chance to open her up, but the most I have seen in the lower gears in 15lbs. When are you seeing 17lbs? The top of third gear?

the pulley is so easy to install it is rediculous. about a 10 minute job.

there are threads on the pulley all over this forum with more info.

I thought I came across calculations based on the SC pulley's diameter that showed that it was equivalent to <178mm crank pulley in terms of overdriving the supercharger (and that was with the 65.03mm of the 1st gen pulley, not the 65.3mm measured from newer pulleys). Then again, my memory's never as good as it was. I'll have to dig that up somewhere.

Does anyone know what changed to not use the spacers? It came with three. I believe you would experience a slight rub due to not enough space between the new pully and the clutch. The stock spacer is very thin and there is only one. Not saying it won't work this way but I believe you really need to check the spacing.

In the 3 days I have had my car this summer, I have been very pleased with my Code3Performance pulley. A friend of mine who used to have the Renntech kit says that it feels exactly the same.

srt6-Steve...I will check spacing as I re-install, but that was what I was told to do...won't do the install until Monday evening now...so if you hear of something different...that's what I intend to do...
