Interesting product. I like the idea, but i would think there is not enough surface area to affect temps IAT's considerably. The air is moving so fast that 12" x 1.5" passage of air might not be effective. Then again i might be wrong.

Other comments...? Waldig, BrianBrave, cooling nuts?

We already have an intercooler, this is just that and we do not have access to the airflow to add it in any case. BTW the turbo has lots of heat due to inefficiency and heat leak from the exhaust connections.

Looks restrictive too, Woody

Where would you mount it on our cars? Turbo's have a longer charge-air run to fit it in. It would seem that piping in the extra intake runs after the SC could possibly create a lag and PSI issue.

Also our engine coolant is around 195+deg. That's way hotter then our IAT's - I have my IC coolant temps way down - routing them through yet another source of heat exchange doesn't seem like a good idea..

Sounds great for an air-to-air turbo system with their higher IAT's...and a dedicated coolant source like ours.

I agree, that it would require longer piping meaning more pressure drop. Boost would probably suffer at that point. Since we already have an HE I don't think this would be of much benefit to the SRT6.
