Anyone Dyno Resonator Delete?
does anyone have real numbers for the resonator delete. i assume the numbers climb with extra mods..... it SEEMS like a cheap way to add power without ruining the sound.
I didnt notice any difference in power when I deleted mine, so if there is any, it is small. I wouldnt pay the dyno fee just for the resonator delete. I do love the sound of it though. And it dosent sound just like the factory. The SSB is much quieter than the Aero. The Aero is deeper and throatier, especially when revved up.

Want a low cost check. Try deleting the muffler before commiting to the resonator delete. I did it and added a pipe to complete the change. You can see my dyno numbers (photo) and hear it on the Utube of me autocrossing in Md.
If you dont like it you are not stuck as it can go back on easily, just have to fight the rubber bands on the rear. Its a thought and for the effort you might enjoy it as I do. You also shed a lot of weight as you can see the muffler interior in my gallery.
Enjoying, Woody

When I had mine removed I really couldn't tell much difference just driving around town (in the low RPM range), but once I got out on the open road I believe I could tell a little difference in the mid to top end range. And like MikeR said it is a deeper and throatier sound.
