Default Got my true dual exhaust done tonight!

1030 PM and I managed to leave the shop. The system is not fully done but the tech told me after 8pm his work goes down hill so we left it for another day.

Here are some sample pix of my setup. He will be putting an xpipe the next time i come by and will redesign some things which he did not like such as better placement of the hangers etc.

The thing sounds amazing! The xpipe will bring the sound down some and give me some added tq, cant wait! I told him to mass produce these but he said he needs atleast 5 orders for him to make molds etc.

YOu can see the two videos at www.youtube.com/exhaustdepot

That is very sharp. Did you do any dyno runs for before/after? Hope to hear a sound clip

Lookin good! Next Wednesday I'll meet you up at Countyline to kick your AMX.

I put the NW CAI on tonight. It sounds interesting with the whine/whistle. We will see how much of a difference it makes.

Nice - sounds like a cross between a mustang and a motorcycle. I bet the x-pipe will help with the crackle too.

Exhaust Depot?!? Hector do that for you? If so I can put a deposite down for one and try and get 4 more people in. I bought my single exit and super beast from Hector for my SRT-4

I have heard also that running without an x-pipe actually hurts performance, has to do something with back pressure exhaust pulses. This came from my uncle and my father who were both hardcore racers in their younger years.

now that it is morning and we worked to 11:00 pm on this, the wrap is because the fuel pump and filter is there, and we don't want any heat going to that point Hector told me he was going to wrap all the ones he sells with that wrap,, beleave me this was a ***** to build. I got to the shop at 10:30 am and 11 1/2 hours we finished ,, we did spend about 3 hours building a duel 3" intake that too is not finished when winished ,i will post pic and yes Hector (exhaust depot.com) will be selling that also. will keep you informed. jim

What's the cost of it, if it's reasonable I wouldn't mind driving over and slapping that on my car

Not bad, get that x-pipe on though...theres a reason even the factory setup has an h-pipe crossover.

I see you used header wrap rather than moving the fuel filter/pump over.

Also, i see you didnt use the stock flanges. Do those aftermarket ones seal up properly with the special factory MB ones?

the flanges we had to use had a longated hole so we used washers on the m yes they do seal we made the pipes ends just like mb did (almost) the header wrap was used next to the fuel pump it was late and we didn't have time to move the pump,, this is the first one and R & D is not finished the X pipe will be installed ,,the tips will have 1" between them the brackets,,(hangers will be located in the factory position this will be a bolt on exhaust that any one can do.

Nice system. Keep in mind that it may not work with the roadsters c/o the additional bracing underneath.
