Randy, I'm still surprised you're running a 8.61 in the 1/8th. I'm running consistenly in the 8.5's with just an intake.

I would think 8.3's would be on par for your car....guess you need to get that tune done, might be hampering performance

Gator, I have the 181, the ECU tuned and the NW CAI. This is why Jim and I are questioning the times. It sould be much faster. I will probably send the ECU back to Jerry for a retune. When I did the dyno w/o the CAI, I was running 292 whp @95 degrees and 60% humidity. I would have thought I would have been at 330 plus.

AMX not hating on your thread, glad to see the bar is being risen again. I'm just a little old school, and this is my sleeper. My nova makes all the noise but the SRT will eat it for lunch.
I know exactly what you mean. I have a 1965 Chevelle with Dual 2.5" and Flowmasters. Oh yeah, it's got ported and polished heads, Pete Jackson gear drive, Muncie 4 Speed Rock Crusher, TRW 10:1 flat-top pistons, and a nice big Competition Cams cam!! It is my first car, and I've had it since I was 15. I finished it at the age of 19.

Sorry, back to your regularly scheduled thread...

I had the same one in my nova, talk about some whine. My was a noisy sucker, I took it out for a quiet one so I could hear the exhaust. LOL.

What size are those magnaflows in and out?
I had this exhaust built, same style except I wanted secondary cats removed, and used after market tips so I didn't have to touch the factory system. I offered anyone who wanted one that I would have the company make extras. Price with tips was $750, system was 304 stainless lifetime guarantee and no heat tape needed. As far as an X pipe they change the tone a little bit but do nothing for horsepower.

you mean you had a exhaust built see link below right,,,, because hector of exhaustdepot, com built this exhaust for me but my wife sait it was too loud for her, hector removed it and if some near orlando fl wants this(1) installed on their car hector will install it for 300.00 there is not enough people wanting this exhaust for him to make it.. and you keep your factory exhaust cat back to reinstall one day down the road. http://www.exhaustdepot.net/ jim
