New To Group
Hello to all fellow Crossfire lovers. Just joined the group and love all the good info. Bought my SRT6 Blue coup a little over a year ago with 15,000 miles on it, just turned over 19,000. I drove it more when I first got it but now it sets in the garage with the others. Love the car, amazing performance plus you dont see one on every street!\
So whats the actual horsepower? I know it was adveritsed as 330, but i've also heard 349 and most recently 354. Not the most in the garage but is the quickest. Also, whats the touque? Mine is completely stock, for now.
Nope. Guess I just started collecting without noticing once I retired from the Army.
Hard to keep vehicles when you are constantly moving around. All of them have a reason for being here and since this is my 100th post, I'll explain.
1965 Chevelle SS, 327. Price was so good I HAD to buy it!
1965 Chevelle SS, 468. Beautiful car at a killer price. HAD to buy it!
1967 Chevelle SS, 496 w/871 supercharger. Have had this car since 1983. It's my car for life, will always have it.
1970 Chevelle Convertible, 350. Price was so good I HAD to buy it!
1971 Nova, 355 mini tubbed. Sell pending on this one.
1976 Suburban, 454. Messy! Bought it for the engine.
1981 GMC 1 Ton Truck, 305. Bought this for the 454 that was in it (now it's a 496 and is in the 67)
1989 Suzuki Swift Gti, 1.3 DOHC. Soon to be turbo charged.
1992 Heritage Edition* Camaro Z28 Convertible, 305, rear mount turbo. I wanted a convertible Camaro. This is it!
1992 Heritage Edition* Camaro Z28, 350. See Heritage Edition explanation below.
1992 Heritage Edition* Camaro RS, V6. See Heritage Edition explanation below.
1992 Camaro Police Interceptor, 350. Ran across this while looking for the Z28 Convertible HAD to have it!
1994 Suzuki Swift Gt, 1.3 DOHC. Another attempt at going "rice". Car is now parted out and ready for the salvage yard.
1999 Chevy Metro, 1.6 conversion. My good mileage car. 38mpg without even trying while driving the **** out of it!
2000 Ford Windstar, V6. Wife's. I wouldn't drive a Ford!
2004 Scion xA, 1.5. Wife's car, soon to be son's.
2005 Crossfire SRT6, 3.2 Supercharged! See Camry comment.
2006 Toyota Camry, 2.4. Was supposed to be mine but the wife stole it from me! Told me to get another car. That's when I got the SRT!!!!
Boy that took awhile. Good thing I'm at work and getting paid to do this!!
* Heritage Edition (H/E) Camaro - the H/E was an option on the 92 Camaro that consisted of: Racing stripes, blackout headlight pockets, front grill same color as car (vs black), a 25th Anniversary badge on the rear of the car. The H/E option cost an additional $175.00. Now, if you go to NADA.com and look up a 92 Camaro Z28 Convertible it lists for $7-$8k or so. Look up the same car with the H/E option (has an asterisk by it) and the value jumps to $17k or so. That's why I bought the H/E Camaros' cuz people were selling them cheap. Now I'm stuck with them!
Oh well!
