How to release belt tension?
edit: nevermind I found it in the service manual
Yeah... How do I release the belt tension on the accessory belt? I looked at the Code 3 instructions for the S/C pulley install but the part about beginning the belt removal didn't make sense. Yikes. Fill me in if possible....

ON THE FRONT OF THE BLOCK IT'S NOT AS FAR DOWN AS THE CRANK PULLEY BUT ITS DOWN THERE. LOOK ON THE CODE3 INSTRUCTIONS, THAT RED DOT IS MISLEADING, IT'S IN THE RIGHT PLACE LEFT TO RIGHT BUT IT ISN'T AT THE TOP OF THE MOTOR LIKE IT LOOKS. INSTEAD IT IS DOWN BY THE CRANK PULLEY ON THE RIGHT. IF I REMEMBER RIGHT IT'S AN E-11 (I used an e-12) with an 12mm locking nut.
I used a 1/2 inch breaker bar on the 12mm nut which worked until it finally broke loose, so then I used a E-12 which is what I should have used from the git go. It takes a bit of muscle to pull that thing back (counter clockwise) far enough to get the slack you need but it is definitely do-able. * I just noticed something about you finding it in the service manual. Well I'll post this anyway. GOOD LUCK!
