I'm interested. So is it Phoenix or Tucson? Are Sunday's (as in Dec 14) the only available day? No Saturday's? The problem being it's a long drive back to SoCal.

They do have saturdays available, but the track is prepped better when there is a trophy race. Some of the bigger events will be on saturdays, but the drawback is they will be too busy to get alot of runs in.

Phoenix or west phoenix at Speedworld.

I'm thinking of heading out Sat, spend the night in Phoenix, track day Sun, and either return to San Diego Sun evening or spend another night and return Mon. Either way I'm looking at taking a vacation day Mon.

Cruizinquick, could you please post weekend motel rates and availability? Have to budget for this specially since I'm looking at getting an extended warranty at the end of the year.

A note and link to this thread in the regional forums will attract more So Cal Crossfires. Sooooo..... I'll see if I can manage a link.

Got a note posted in the West regional forum but couldn't get a link to this thread. A note should also be posted in the Crossfire Meet forum. Anybody want to tackle that one with a working link?

Here's the hotel list. I'll call and get rates tomorrow. I'm going to make the 14th the actual scheduled date so those who are coming can start to make plans. Thanks everyone. If I have one more crossfire there, that will be more than I have raced with ever.

I'm out. The last night of racing here in LV is the 12th and then the 13th I'm gonna be going to the AMG performance tour all day.

My sister lives in Tucson, I just hate that drive! Miles and miles of post nuclear holocaust scenery and I never drove it in the 'concrete cockpit' Crossfire. I'd really like to meet all you guys though. What happened to the Rose Bowl Idea or Azusa Canyon or someplace I can walk to.

Yeh Fontana! That would be great! That's an eighth mile as I recall. I'm really more of a corner guy than a straight line person, but drags are are a kick and with a bunch of Crossfire Guys even better. Brent are you reading this? I know we have a lot of Crossfires out here. I'm not sure how many belong to the forum. Hey guys, SOUND OFF!

Don't think you have many that hit the 1/4 mile track. Fontana is a 1/4 mile. Barona is the 1/8th. The MB guys are trying to plan something the same weekend in Cali, maybe you can jump in there if you can't make it.

We are just waiting for someone to take the lead in organizing a meet *HINT*. Someone local who knows the area - like in walking distance *HINT*. Someone who can take a *HINT*.

What makes you think I can read? Oh, never mind....

Did the SRT Track Experience at Cal Speedway and wouldn't mind going back for some more fun.

I guess I'm thinking of Irwindale. I went there a couple of years ago, or maybe I just dreamed I went there.
