No more bashing, I like Jerry, he has been nice to me and that is what i care about. On my WRX I have a UTEC piggy back to the ECU so I have never once thought to tell a dealership to not plug me in. They said when a car comes in, they check for codes and updates. Such is life.
The same thing happened to my friends M5 at the track 155 and blahhhhh, he got re-flashed today.
for the rest of you......relax.
LETs (haha) not get all butt hurt now people. My SRT-6 is faster then all and has a 'Insert Tuner here" tune with 543 rwhp on 89 octane and ran a 11 flat at 130mph.
~back to reality~ Every car runs different.... any off the shelf tune will react different between 2 cars with the same mods on the same dyno. I thought I got away from this type of thing when I sold my Neon SRT-4 and joined a more mature crowd." Cant we all just get along?" " Who needs a hug?"
Rant over,
Bryan

Very understandable. Glad to hear your on the mend. As they say there's always next year. It's nice to see your passionate about that number. Whether it be top speed or et. Mine is 11.99, a year ago I didn't see it happening. Now it's no longer holy ground. I'll still be estatic when I hit that one.

I have seen Jeff and Rob run first hand and they both have InMotion tunes. Both with KILLER times and mph's in the quarter. I was jealous! lol. Obviously, it is a GREAT tune!! There is no questioning that. I don't think cruzin is talking shyt about LET. I just think he is a strong believer in InMotion. Rightfully so........Today I will find out if LET's "new" tune is up to par with InMotion's tune. Remember guys, I was running 12.2's at 111.5 mphs WITHOUT a tune! You would have to think I would pick up a decent amount with a good tune. We will see on Friday!
I believe LET is tuning our cars for 93 octane and a safe 12 to 12.5. afr. I believe Immotions race or hot tune is for 100 octane and 13:1 afr. Strictly a track tune not meant for daily driving. Correct me If I'm wrong, but I though that is what MD-SRT was running. Also aren't the two fastest cars running with all cats removed and drag radials.

I'm pretty sure whats up there now is different it originally had a needswings catless down pipe ported and polished heads and some other stuff, Needswings also had similar mods listed, what is a catless downpipe then. Downpipes on diesels are right off the turbo, so I would have thought these would be right off the factory header removing the factory cats not the secondery/ resonator ones.
Does anyone know what the dealer does when they reset the TPMS?
I'm about to send in my ECU to LET but I have two rear rims to put on when my tread is finally gone from the current tires.
If this was covered above sorry I missed it.

I took my car to one dealer for a speaker repair and oil change. The service manager says "no, we never update the ECU without asking the car owner. I asked them to call the tech so I could ask a rear gear oil question. He walked in and I asked, do you plug the car into the computer or update the software if an update is available?
His answer "sure, I plug in every car to see if any codes popped. I get paid to fix problems and the car is smart enough to let me know what has been happening. If there is a problem, we call the car owner and tell them and I fix it if asked. I then asked, "do you update the software if one is available? He said "of course, the newest versions are always better and it's policy.
