Hey LET Now What?
LET, I am at the Texas Mile now. At 3/4 mark 155mph, car falls off again for about 2 seconds. It just kind of shuts off like it is out of fuel. Then it kicks back in and I am running through the mile at 152 exactly like I was running back in March. Call me 832-724-4689 or post up and I will check it. I really need you guys help. I spent a lot of money for the same results and I don't understand what is happening.

Sorry to hear this Phooey, we all were looking forward to hear how you did. I have a feeling that the LET tune does not remove the speed limiter. I hit 150 + on the dyno one time and the ECU made it cut out right at 155. I have the latest tune now, but have not pushed it on the dyno to see what happens at 155.
I had started another thread, spoke with Jerry and Wayne to make sure the speed limited was set to 210mph, both really nice guys but...the car shut down/pulled timing at the 3/4 mile mark right at 155mph. I'm frustrated to get out there to run with the big dogs and end up limping back to the pits with my tail tucked between my legs.
I'm honestly crushed and my spirit is broken.

I don't think this will apply but I had the LET tune...was hot ******* w/ a friend on an old abandoned road I like to play on, took a hard hair pin turn, done this several times in the past, when boom, with the traction control off, like always, it over rides and comes on, and I have no choice but go with it into a 360, saving the car. I always power thru that turn...contacted Wayne, who informed me the car still has a memory. That I would need to re-set the memory, meaning undo the negative cable for a short time to blank the memory and car should return to the original tune...I did this and sure enough the car runs better...but I didn't get a chance to confirm this not making the test and tune a few weeks ago...I certainly would look into it, my tune is supposed set to 190 mph...but can't confirm that either rt now...
that tire going boom had to hurt...looks like he held it though...mine before tune cut out a 158, of course, @ that speed, it could have been 155...I was busy looking up more than down....but got there in 9/10ths of a mile from a standing start...sry to here about the tune problems...I am still wondering about mine...

I have to agree with SLK32 I have been visited by the dreaded speed limiter and it just feels like, there is no more. Gracfully stops your exceleration but never feels as though it is cutting out or anything which gives that sensation.
Plus, I have one of Jerry's latest tunes and mine does way better in a mile than 155!
Are you a "Quarter Mile Freak"? Because if you are you may not do better than that. Let me explain. When I got my tune (I drive Road Courses) Jerry asked if I would need my car to sustain speeds of 160mph through corners. This is when you put the most demand on the engines need for fuel and torque. If you are lean enough for the strip you probably are not rich enough for the extended pull of the "mile". My thought "you can't have it all".
Mine's done 175 and there was more under the hood than there was asphalt!

WHen I autocrossed for a minute at full power in 1 and some 2nd gear I got heat shut down so bad that it threw codes of a throttle nature. THis violent shut down is how my crank key was killed and the 181 pulley that was on it. The key was not too thick and sorta short for me, My new one is BIGGIE.

I personally checked your tune and your speed limter has been raised to well above 200 MPH.
I would check your IAT's and start there.
All speed limiters are raised with our tuning.

Since I was in the middle of noooowhere Texas, I did it all from a text message through my wife who posted for me.

Mine cuts out at 3/4 of a mile @ 160mph but the timing system says at 158 or close to it on the speedo but it's really 152.9mph so I feel like I'm 6mph off at that speed. It's just as you have described, just an easy blaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh then it's back on again. I swear I told everyone all weekend, 2 seconds just went soft but at those speeds, 2 seconds is about 450 feet and there is only about 3 seconds to make up what I lost. It's just exactly what happened in March when I was told the limiter was still on the car, same feel, exact same location on the track and almost exact speed. If it's as you both described, this is exact, spot on in every way what happened. When I said limped back in the pits, it was my pride not the car, the car runs strong as ever.
The car sat for an hour before running with a low humidity and air temp outside of 74 degrees. It's 3 of us in the thread that all have the same feeling at the 155+ area with identical feelings of what the car does when the limiter turns on. There is no doubt in my mind after reading what has been posted that this is what it is. It's the same as in at the Texas Mile, same point on the track, same feel, sound and trap speed. I knew it and did it two more times on empty road on my way back home each time blllllaaaaaahhhhh then it would go again. It may be on the computer but I don't think it made it into the car.
