Great numbers Jeff. If I can get my Aero back together this week I will see if I can catch you. I think my updates will get me close.

So how much ET and MPH did you pick up with the manifold? Do you think it was the 100 octane tune that boosted your times more or the manifolds?

I would say both.

He posted the before and after times in the intake manifold thread.

Great times indeed and congrats! Wow...All the folks around me running different cars that are ALL MOTOR, means that they are not using any type of spray or forced induction. Just normal bolt ons and motor work......

I agree that the traditional saying " all motor " is no forced induction or spray of anytype, but since I was speaking to a group that only owns forced induction cars and I sometimes spray nitrous, that the term would be understood. Thanks for pointing that out!

Jeff, you have two times posted on dragtimes.com at 11.2 and 11.7. Are those with Nitrous? Your 10.9 says with Nitrous. Just curious.

I had the 100 octane tune on all runs for the last couple of months, so the changes were all mani's, see the thread for intake manifolds by needswings.

He can do that pretty easy, just roll the lights and take off from there. Remember the lowest et and mph should be the bench mark. Higher mph is only beneficial if the et is lowered on the same pass, otherwise it just shows some wheelspin. I was a 115.60 for mph, but was in the 12.10's. My lowest of 12.02 was only at 111mph.

Just scroll down a bit on drag times, all mods are listed. I don't know why that one line says " crossfire srt6 nitrous ", I only wrote crossfire srt6 when I submitted it, maybe if you have nitrous in the mod list they put it there. But to answer your question, both the 11.2 and the 11.7 were with nitrous, but with different shots. ( but next week we should have better than a 11.7 with no nitrous ) I am concentrating on motor runs now anyway cause I don't want to blow it up since it's not my car anymore. I gave it to my son for his birthday.

I agree, in drag racing the only number that counts is ET. MPH has too many variables. + mph does not get you to the finish line first!

Not gonna disagree that the ET is what matters in drag racing, I know how the timing lights work.

I have yet to see a 120mph pass from one of these cars without nitrous. I can not wait to see that.
