I was flipping through the channels and stopped on CSI miami. There was a black magnum about to run over the blonde CSI and when she went to fire a shot, they panned to her. There was an Aero blue Srt6 parked behind her.

 

Was telling me wife the same thing. Looked great. So does the blond.

 

It's an aero blue SRT6, and you do get a shot of the radio when she's in the car, but I couldn't decide if it had the navi or not. If so, it's the exact same model as mine. A bit cleaner, though.

Anyway, it's a rerun. This episode is from last season. The next day, when I got to work, I found out which of my coworkers watch CSI Miami by who came to say "I saw your car on tv last night."

No kidding, we watched the first minute or so, and my wife says, "This is the one with your car in it, right?" and I agreed. We watched until the Crossfire was off scene, then watched a Law and Order ep on DVD.

 

I was stunned when I saw it because it doesn't make sense that Dodge/Chrysler would spend its product placement $$$ on getting a Crossfire into a show. They don't even have that many to sell. The Magnum (Or was it a charger actually?) made sense. The cops' hummers make sense. So does "My own worst enemy" 's new Camaro, "knight rider" 's mustang, "I am Legend" 's all Ford movie, CSI Vegas's V6 black mustang, and many others... But the SRT-6 product placement?? Strange. Makes me think theres an srt-6/amg/mb fan in the mix somewhere!!

 

Why is it strange to have a hot Chick in a hot car. I hope they didn't think it just looked cute beside the Dodge Magnum.

 

Did they play loud music as the driver took their sunglasses off?

 

Its paid product placement and they paid to have one of their lowest production cars ever, with huge sales available to get rid of the remaining ones, be driven by a star of the show..... Seems strange, I would've put her in a V6 Challenger or something to get ready for big sales.

Like I said... theres an AMG-32 lover somewhere behind the scenes! But yes it was great because my girlfriend immediately yelled "HONEY ITS YOUR CAR!!!!" all stunned because she had never seen one before besides mine, they're that rare.
