I know I'm being "that guy" right now, but I did search quite a bit (I think I just suck at the search feature). I know the SRT-6 engine is shared with the SLK32 AMG (2001-2004?)...but is there a full list of the years and models of cars that the engine is shared with somewhere? Also what is the specific engine code?

The reason I ask is I've been doing a search trying to pick up the cheapest fuel pump and fuel filter and getting grief from Mercedes dealerships because "they can't look it up without the specific engine code"...which I know is bull...but...I'm just sick of dealing with it.

 

The SRT-6 shares the same engine/tranny/etc. with the C32 AMG and SLK32 AMG. The engine code is M112 - however, there are N/A M112's as well, so it's typically referred to as a M112K ("K" for "Kompressor"). You might also try 112.960 or 112.961 as the full "official" engine code.

I always use a 2003 SLK32 AMG for the car I need parts for and they find the same part.
