Anyone try and fit 20x11???
10,5 J x 20" with spacers fit on the rear axle.
8,5 J x 20" with spacers fit on the front axle.
The optimal wheel width on the rear axle is 9.5"

No body work needed.
I can sent pictures, if you are interested.

pics would be great! right now i have 20x10 in the rear with 15mm spacers, and it looks great, but a 10.5 or 11" in the rear would really improve traction and the widened stance.
You can put a nice fat 315 or 335 on the 9.5 wide wheel. That is 12.5" or 13" of rubber on the road. That should look pretty hefty. No need to go to an 11" wheel.

315 is the widest tire you can "tuck" under the car without sticking out and interfering with the 1/4 panel. I run 315/35 17 Hoosiers at the track on a 9'' rim.
thanks for all the feedback guys. in regards to your helpful comments, are any of you riding on 'lowered springs' with such large tires?
thanks guys, truly.

the big question then is: will a 20x10 wheel with a 285/30/20 tire fit on the rear axle with a 15mm spacer and the car lowered with eibach springs? the front will have 19x8 wheels with tire size not known yet... this is the forged setup i am embarking upon for next spring.
any thoughts? will it fit? thanks again!

Daun, those pics of your tires really show he negative camber well. Especially the one of the back of the tire and how the outside is clean and the rest is where the car's weight sits. You could install a camber kit and take some of that negative out though. Have you looked into that?

offset the negative camber on the rear axle. On the front axle I used original Mercedes Benz adjuster to compensate the negative camber.
If you have a solution for the rear axle, please tell.
(I know my English is bad; i try my best)
By the way, my name is Gerhard; i live in Daun.

I had bigger tires that hung out a bit and had to replace the factory springs to keep the car from squatting and hitting the tires. It looked like lots of free room but the car sat down several inches with the eibach springs. I now have an extra set of pro sport springs as with the autocrossing the tires are too close on massively HARD
turns and rub so they have to go. Woody enjoy...
Gerhard, I dont have a solution for you. I didnt realize that you cant use a camber kit on the back. That is too bad. I like how your wheels fit and look(except for the big tilt).
Maybe some of the more knowageable wheel folks here have a solution for us.

there are crossfire camber kits on ebay, and i would also like to say, more rubber = more traction. i do not understand how you could say wider tires are silly..... it's silly to say THAT! and i do agree, it's looks very cool too!
daun, here's the camber kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KMAC-...spagenameZWD1V

Correcting camber will allow for reduced wheel squat inner edge tire wear and improved traction. This is essential when lowering or when expensive low profile tires are fitted.
If you want to accelerate very quickly you need a differential lock and tuned ESP software. Extra wide tires make a car slowly, nevertheless they can improve traction on dry streets - correct camber assumed.
My SRT6 ist equipped with a locked differential (40%) and tuned ESP Software from VAETH ( www.vaeth.com ); the startech V8 ist equipped with a brabus 60% locked differential and 255 tires. The car accelerates great.
I m very happy to find a champer kit manufacturer. Great FORUM !

that's EXACTLY how i want my SRT to look!!!! i'm sold on the 20x11's!!! does your friend have any 'rubbing' issues in the rear? i'm going to be purchasing ASANTI 3-piece forged wheels, and i want to be sure they will work flawlessly. i may just do 20x10.5 and use spacers.....
thanks so much for the pictures!!!!!

i ordered the rear camber kit, and have the phantom-grip pseudo-Limited Slip Differential. have not installed it yet. still waiting for my new wheels before i lower it and put on the adjustable koni shocks.
thinking of putting pirelli Pzero Rosso's on, anyone heard if these are as good as ferrari claims???
