Question Computer Resetting

I've been told that unplugging the car battery causes the car to run funny when the car is restarted this due to computer resetting itself. Can anyone confirm this, if so how long before car runs normally and what about the car's audio system, does it need to be resetted in any way by the dealer or something like that???
Thanx for the info....

no, it will run just fine after resetting...its erases the memory of your driving style for the simple explanation...it does other things as well, but that is usually the reason for me resetting...

Car will run fine but won't pass emissions testing because the O2 sensors go off line. If you don't have emissions testing then it doesn't matter. If you do you will need to drive about 500-600 miles to get everything back on line.
