Why Does Your Engine Have More Power In The C32?

The truth is that nobody seems to know EXACTLY how many SRT-6's were made. Karmann can confirm the total number of Crossfires they produced - which includes base, limiteds and SRT-6's - but can't give information on how many of each type came out. Chrysler has refused to release the information, and several members with Chrysler insider friends have tried.
That's one of the reasons members here have been trying to build a database of VIN numbers. If you search you'll find a thread SRT-6 VIN's. I think crossfirefun is the current "keeper" of the database.

Down here in Australia in our "muscle" car department was have Ford FPV (For Performance Vehicles) Kind of like Chyrsler SRT, anywho in this FPV range there is a FPV GT which is a 5.4ltr V8 that produces 330kw then we have the FPV Thypoon a 4ltr 6 Cylinder Turbocharged, which produces 310kw. Although most people thought the V8 has the upper hand they were wrong, the Thypoon does 0-100kms in mid to high 4 second mark whereas the V8 does it in mid 5 sec mark. Further more both vehicles were put to the dyno (stock) the V8 JUST made it to its 330kw, whereas the Thypoon which is meant to have 310kw produced something like 335kw.
Sorry for going off track but I'm trying to say that maybe the SRT actually has the 260kw but for marketing reasons were told it has 246kw.
Interesting topic to me though.

The car's have the exact same HP.....it was a Damiler decision to market that the Chrysler's have less HP.
Typical Daimler always cheapening the Chrysler brands!

It may be a push, but I don't think it'll be an easy walk. To do that it would have to get to 60 in less than 4.5 and run the 1/4 in like 12.3 or so... I don't see that happening with it's weight and power figures. Could be wrong. Sedans that will easily walk us are things like E63, C63, new CTS-V, but they all have much more power than that, very well delivered. Turbo cars always feel super-fast (not that the F6 isn't) because of the way they build boost. My guess is that in a pretty fair fight it's a push.

I have mixed reviews from 80ks-120 for the F6 ranging from 2.6 to 2.9 seconds. I dont believe the F6 is sub 13 1/4 from the reviews ive read
